Moonbeam goes to Burger King

"BURGER KING! BURGER KING! BURGER KING!" Goldie and Fizz chanted in sync in the backseats of Moonbeam's spaceship, akin to two children who couldn't hold in their excitement about going to their favourite fast food restaurant. 

"Burger King!" Moonbeam quickly added in, she was too focused on not crashing her spaceship.. again, that she failed to join in on the Burger King summoning ritual that the other two cats appeared to be performing. It had only just barely been fixed, before Moonbeam swooped in and took it out for a ride.. Scratch that, many rides. There were just too many planets to explore, she dared not be confined to the Space Station for anything longer than a singular moon rotation cycle, lest she miss out on some exciting event. A meteor made of cheese? A Big Bang to perfectly form piece-for-piece the fictional planet known as Earth from that one hit TV show? Nocat in their right mind would've failed to turn up to such a spectacle, nocat that was Moonbeam, at least.

Moonbeam was drawn from kit's thoughts by her friends' sudden returning screeches, it seems they had arrived at the fabled Burger King. Thankfully, there were plenty of docking spaces, so Moonbeam had no trouble landing her spaceship in a free area of the ship-park. The three friends then proceeded to rush out of the vehicle and sprint over to where the fast food place was just sitting, as if awaiting their arrival. They were just about to enter the building, when Fizz let out an extremely loud and shocking gasp, his gaze fixed on the sign that sat just in front of the establishment. 

"THIS ISN'T BURGER KING! NOOOOOO!" He threw his head up and yowled to the stars, as if they had just lost the thing they treasured the most. Fizz had always been the most dramatic of the three. At first, Moonbeam was fairly perplexed, if this wasn't Burger King, then what was it? Kit's gaze quickly darted over to look at the sign. Burger.. Thing? Out of all the knockoff names it could've been.. Burger Prince, Burger Queen.. they chose BURGER THING? 

"I told you we should've used the SpaceNav!" Goldie declared, knowingly, as if they had somehow foretold that this exact thing would happen. Moonbeam immediately frowned at that statement, feeling as if her navigation abilities were being insulted. 

"Hey now!" She piped up, "It isn't like I took us to the wrong place, this is exactly where Burger King was."

"Was." Goldie emphasized, though Moonbeam ignored him. 

"I know it for sure, it must've just been rebranded, I doubt there's much difference recipe-wise." Moonbeam stated with confidence, before marching into the Burger Thing. Fizz excitedly followed behind, if this place was good enough for Moonbeam then it was good enough for them too. Goldie let out an exasperated sigh before entering the building last. 

Ten minutes later…

"AHHHHHH!!!!" Fizz and Goldie ran screaming out of the restaurant, Moonbeam quickly pursuing them as they all headed for the spaceship in a panic. 

"I can't believe all of that gross stuff they put in the burgers! How disgusting, how are they even allowed to serve those!?" Goldie stuck out their tongue, unable to believe he put such a monstrosity in his mouth.

"And that literal beast of a waiter! He could barely hold our trays because of how MASSIVE those claws of his were!"

"You know, I'm so glad I didn't miss any of that stuff, especially the guy who snapped our table in half because his burger was burnt! What a wild and eventful day!" Moonbeam exclaimed, although it had certainly been an experience, it wasn't all negative. The friends considered themselves even closer than before this outing, they also now had some silly stories to tell the other members of the Space Station. Although, next time they would make sure to go to the actual Burger King!
