HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR COPYRIGHT?
While Spacecats, as a species and as a concept, are owned by us, a large part of the site is the display of individual artists’ artwork and designs. In order to protect individual users copyright (art, designs) we:
- Automatically watermark all designs uploaded to the Masterlist with our species watermark.
- Properly crediting both designer and the artist (using their site account or an external social media) of the characters/images posted to the Masterlist/misc. galleries.
- Protecting your ownership of your approved Spacecats, even if you leave the species or banned. This may very case-by-case, but we will not revoke any Spacecats from users.
