Hi everyone! We have the beginning of another lore event :)

PLEASE READ THIS NEWSLETTER IN FULL.

An Important Reminder:

We do not tolerate any form of cheating in our events. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Multiaccounting, including getting friends to sign up just to send you items
• Exploits that are discovered that are not promptly reported, and are instead used to get a large quantity of items
  • You are also disallowed from telling other people about exploits that you find, other than staff when you report it
  • If you find an exploit by mistake, you will not be punished so long as you let us know immediately
• Hacking the website, or other people's accounts
• If you cheat in these ways, then we will find out. We do not tolerate it whatsoever, as it gives users an advantage over others. This includes getting a mass amounts of MYOs to use to make characters, as well as trading illegitimate items for art and characters.

If we catch you cheating, then you will be given a full-site ban, the length of which varying depending on the severity of the offense.

Dialogue Event:

Part 1 of the dialogue event can be read here! Be sure to read it before participating in the event, there is also a prize code at the end!

Prompts:

Here are the prompts for part 1! As a reminder:

Story prompts must be completed in order, and can only be completed once per person. They must also be completed by you. While you can include other users' characters (with permission), the focal character(s) must be your own and other users cannot submit your drawing to the prompt.

Event prompts are repeatable, and can be completed as many times as you want during the event's duration, in order to obtain resources and other items. Other people can fulfill event prompts for you, as long as they feature your characters! Be sure to read the prompt rules thoroughly.

Story Prompt:

Draw/Write about your character hiding from danger!

Rules:

• If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least a shaded fullbody with a simple scene background!
• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 750 words!
• This prompt MUST be completed by the character owner
• This prompt can only be completed once!
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)

Rewards:

• Get to Safety Patch
• 500 cc
• 20 user exp
• 20 character exp
• 1x Part 1 Raffle Ticket

Event Prompt:

Draw your character protecting something important from harm, whether it be a sentimental or valuable object, a loved one, or a location!

Rules:

• If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least an unshaded fullbody with a simple scene background!
• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 500 words!
• A maximum of 3 characters can be in one scene, this may be changed in the future.
• This prompt can be completed by someone else for you, so long as it depicts your character! Rewards will be given to the person whose character was drawn or written about!
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)
• The person who completed the piece will be the one to upload to the gallery, not the one who owns the character!

You can obtain one raffle ticket from the prize code at the end of the dialogue event. Additional tickets can be obtained via the event and story prompts!

This raffle will remain open until this event concludes.

GUEST ARTIST APPLICATIONS:

We're currently looking for a handful of Guest Artists for an upcoming part of the event! What these designs are for is currently a secret, however.

This is a non-monetary position. Guest Artists will be tasked to as many designs as they'd like, and will be compensated with CC and a MYO choice box++ (rarity and amounts depend on how many designs you decide to do!). 

Anyone of any age may apply. Applications will close on August 29th, with GAs being announced on August 31st! The final deadline for designs will be September 18th.

Art Fight conclusion:

Thanks to everyone for participating in our ArtFight event!

With a total of 45.041666666667 points, our winners were Team Crystals! Congrats! We've set up a special prompt for anyone on that team to claim a free Myth MYO choice box ++ as a reward for winning - in order to qualify, you must have submitted at least one attack on site, as well as be a member of Team Crystals!

We also rolled our raffle for the ArtFight Mystery Design! Our winner was yugioh! The revealed design is below!

Miscellaneous:

• We are still going through spacecats and updating them to reflect the new simple dust pattern trait! We will let everyonce know once we've finished.
• The Crystallized Fossil is now craftable using 1x any fossil and 1x any gemstone!
