PLEASE READ THIS NEWSLETTER IN FULL.

An Important Reminder:

We do not tolerate any form of cheating in our events. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Multiaccounting, including getting friends to sign up just to send you items
• Exploits that are discovered that are not promptly reported, and are instead used to get a large quantity of items
  • You are also disallowed from telling other people about exploits that you find, other than staff when you report it
  • If you find an exploit by mistake, you will not be punished so long as you let us know immediately
• Hacking the website, or other people's accounts
• If you cheat in these ways, then we will find out. We do not tolerate it whatsoever, as it gives users an advantage over others. This includes getting a mass amounts of MYOs to use to make characters, as well as trading illegitimate items for art and characters.

If we catch you cheating, then you will be given a full-site ban, the length of which varying depending on the severity of the offense.

Dialogue Event:

The dialogue event was written by GalacticRing.

Trick-or-treat:

Every day from today until October 31st, you can visit three doors to claim a prize! You may comment on each door once per day, rolling over at midnight site time. Each door has a new page for each day, so be sure to only comment on the current day's page!

Moonbeam and Goldie's door:
Random prizes include candy, Halloween pets, and items, with a small chance of myth items and premade designs!

Ganymede's door:
Random prizes include candy, Halloween pets, and items, with a small chance for myth items and fabled choice boxes!

Potfox's door:
A guess-the-number game! Each day you may guess up to three numbers between 1 and 5000, and if any of those numbers correspond to a prize you win! Basic prizes include candy and non-myth items, while jackpot prizes include myth items, fabled items, and premade designs! Once you win a jackpot, you will no longer be allowed to participate in guess the number for the rest of the event, however you can win multiple basic prizes before that.

Any designs not won by the end of the event will be raffled off!

Prompts:

We have one repeatable prompt for this event! It may be completed once-per-character. 

Event Prompt:

Rules:

• If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least a lined and unshaded fullbody! There is no background requirement.
• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 300 words!
• This prompt MUST be completed by the character owner, however you can use the following NPCs: Moonbeam, Goldie, Ganymede, Callie, Tempest, Halcyon, and Potfox! Each of these characters has a halloween costume visible on their masterlist entry.
• This prompt can only be completed once per character! With the exception of the NPCs listed above. 
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)

• 50 Candy (on first completion)

• Halloween 2025 Patch (user-held, on first completion)
• Dress Up 2025 Patch (character-held)

Candy Shop Opening:

Candy earned can be spent in the Candy Shop! You can purchase last year's Halloween pets, DIY Pet Variant Vouchers, and other items.

The Candy Shop can be found on the shops page! It will remain open for one week after the event ends, closing November 7th.

Items and pets:

We have three new pets and one new item with this event! Pets can be obtained via the trick-or-treat doors, while the item is available in the Candy Shop.

  • Used to create custom pet variants! Functions identically to other pet variant vouchers, with the exception that all pets must be Halloween-themed in some way.

Charity Livestream:

Tomorrow, October 25th at 3:00PM EST, the staff team will be hosting a livestream!

We will be rolling the gacha on-stream, and then moving on to games for a while. During the stream, we will be accepting charity donations, and will raffle off prizes to chat participants as we hit certain milestones. While you will not be missing out on anything vital should you miss the stream, we would appreciate it if you stopped in!

All charity donations will be benefiting the Palestinian Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), and will be going directly to  the charity without entering our hands.

Guest Artist Opportunity:

We're opening guest artist applications once again, this time for our yearly winter advent!

This is a paid opportunity. Each artist will be assigned a theme and species to create a single design, and will be paid $20 USD. Designs will be due one week before the day they are expected to go out.

You must be at least 16 years old and able to recieve payment via PayPal in order to apply. The form will close on November 7th, and guest artists will be contacted on November 10th.

• Reminder that The Invisible Game of Fate activities will be closing on October 29th! Be sure to get any last minute submissions in before then.
• The scheduled site downtime for our new hosting provider has been moved from November 1st until January.
