Hi all! Today marks the start of our annual Spring Hunt.

Starting Today we will be hosting multiple scavenger hunts. These will last from today (4/17) till 4/29 23:59:59 site time. Everyday from 4/17 until 4/19 we will release another set of 8 items for everyone to find! Of those 8, 4 will be raffle tickets for premade  mystery designs designs. No items are FCFS.

These designs (and the winners) will be revealed on 5/1!

You may also purchase choice boxes to obtain raffle tickets for any design you may be potentially interested in with Cloudcoins. Remember that you need to open these boxes from your inventory in order to obtain the raffle tickets!

This event will work like our previous scavanger hunt events, with items being hidden anywhere members can access. This includes any non-voided characters.

Below is a preview of today's premade mystery designs!

These designs are titled (in order) Buzzing Bee, Cherry Blossom, Flower Bunny, and Silly Jester! If you're particularlly interested in any of these designs you may purchase more raffle tickets for 500 CC each from the Starstop Shop. The item is a choice box, meaning you may select which design raffle to enter. 

All hunt targets have either an item, past event pet, or Cloudcoins in them. Todays theme is plushies, and below is an image of every target available today! Hunt targets can be found on any page that has text and is accessable by members of the site. This includes character notes, descriptions, and profiles. 

ALL PLUSHIES OBTAINED FROM THE HUNT AND ALL RAFFLE TICKETS PURCHASED FROM THE SHOP MUST BE OPENED FROM YOUR INVENTORY TO RECIEVE YOUR REWARDS!

A few pages on the site have been redesigned and the navbar has been adjusted! On some themes things may look a bit wonky, but that will be fixed in the next few days! Make sure to hard refresh as well ( Ctrl + F5 on windows, Cmd + Shift + R on mac, clear your browser cache for mobile).

Dashboard:

• Now includes your featured character and an event countdown!
• Total layout overhaul.

• "Quicklinks" has been renamed "Shortcuts"
  • On the sidebar the "Shortcuts" section is now permanently open.
  • The sidebar has been slightly reorganized, and some icons have been changed.

  • All activities have been moved to their own dedicated index page.
• Currency display has been added.

User profiles:

• User uploadable header images have been added.
• Pagedolls no longer have cursor events, meaning you can click on links/images behind them without issue.

Awan Cleanup:

Beginning now, you can participate in cleaning up the radiation from Awan by completing prompts!

This is a goal that the community must work together to accomplish. Each submission to the relevant prompts will contribute to the site-wide progress bar, and those participating will recieve tokens for their efforts! Each prompt will yield at least one token, but going above the minimum requirements may grant you more. Starting with the beginning of phase 2, there will be a shop where you can turn in your tokens for items! There will be three phases in all.

There are two types of prompts that you can complete: repeatable prompts, which work the same way as event and seasonal prompts, and once-per-character prompts, which can be completed once per character and award a patch to their profiles! Each prompt has limitations on which species can complete them, so be sure to read the rules carefully!

The cleanup event and prompts will remain open until all three phases are completed, at which point there will be a followup story!

• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 500 words!
• A maximum of 3 characters can be in one scene, this may be changed in the future.
• This prompt can be completed by someone else for you, so long as it depicts your character! Rewards will be given to the person whose character was drawn or written about!
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)
• The person who completed the piece will be the one to upload to the gallery, not the one who owns the character!

Without the use of food items, each character will recieve 3 energy per day, and you can change your character up 3 times per day. Rewards from encounters are now granted to the active character's inventory - remember to check there if you're unsure of where something may have gone!

Additionally, some encounters now have the chance to inflict status conditions onto characters. Some options on some encounters also require specific items to be in your character's inventory to be chosen.

Additionally, regular selfbreed MYOs are 50% off for the entire month, and Underglazed Vessels are temporarily available to purchase with a limit of 3 per user!

Poly selfbreeds will be added and discounts will be applied to the Ko-fi shop starting tomorrow. There will also be a Valentine's item bundle available!

Valentine's Mystery Adopts:

We will be posting a batch of Valentine's-themed mystery adopts this year! These will be sold for $25 each.

The batch will be posted on the 14th!

CC Gachas:

We are also having two Cloud Coin gachas this month! Both will be going live on the 15th.

OOAK Pet Variants:

We will be hosting another gacha for OOAK pet variants this month! Rolls will cost 2,500 CC each, and will distribute a unique Valentine's themed variant of an on-site pet. These variants will not be obtainable through any other means, and thus are completely unique individuals.

Randomized MYOs:

We will also be hosting a gacha for randomized MYOs with pre-rolled traits and predetermined color palettes. Rolls will cost 2,000 CC each.

Guest Artist Opportunity:

We are looking for guest artists to help make designs for our Valentine's pet variant gacha! You can be of any age to apply, and will recieve 2,500 CC for each design that you make.

The application form will close and artists will be chosen on February 4th. Designs will be due on February 14th.

We have added three new common traits this month! We will be going over the masterlist and updating any characters that use these features under other traits shortly.

Submit this prompt with a ticket attached and fill out the form to redeem your tickets.

Rules:

• All images must be SFW and cannot contain heavy realistic gore.
• Pet variants must still be reasonably recogniseable as the base pet species.
• You must already own the pet that you wish to use the voucher on.
• Image dimensions must match those of the base pet.
• Images must be uploaded and linked somewhere where the staff can access them. Discord links will not be accepted!
• You must attach a voucher to your prompt submission in order to use it!

Part 4's boss was defeated with a final score of 21 points, surpassing the required 20!

As a reward, everybody who participated by submitting an Intimidation prompt will recieve 100 Cloudcoins, 1 Exclusive Pet, and 1 Random Item Box!

Here are the new prompts for part 5! As a reminder:

Story prompts must be completed in order, and can only be completed once per person. They must also be completed by you. While you can include other users' characters (with permission), the focal character(s) must be your own and other users cannot submit your drawing to the prompt.

Event prompts are repeatable, and can be completed as many times as you want during the event's duration, in order to obtain resources and other items. Other people can fulfill event prompts for you, as long as they feature your characters! Be sure to read the prompt rules thoroughly.

Story Prompt:

Show your Space Station character(s) brainstorming what to do next!

Rules:

• If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least a shaded fullbody with a simple scene background!
• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 750 words!
• This prompt MUST be completed by the character owner
• This prompt can only be completed once!
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)

Event Prompt:

Show your Space Station character(s) succeeding at a difficult task! This prompt is vague, so interpret it as you wish.

• If drawing for this prompt, it MUST be at least an unshaded fullbody with a simple scene background!
• If writing for this prompt, it MUST be a minimum of 500 words!
• A maximum of 3 characters can be in one scene, this may be changed in the future.
• This prompt can be completed by someone else for you, so long as it depicts your character! Rewards will be given to the person whose character was drawn or written about!
• Your piece MUST be submitted to the event gallery AND Event prompt! (As well as when submitting the prompt, you'll need to link to the gallery submission. Gallery submissions can still be linked to before official approval/while pending, so there should be no reason you can't link it when submitting your piece! Prompt submissions with outside links like Discord, sta.sh, etc. will be rejected.)
• The person who completed the piece will be the one to upload to the gallery, not the one who owns the character!

Foraging and Encounters:

There is one more new location to forage at and one more new encounter location during this part!

As a reminder, with the recent changes you will now need to own a character in order to use encounters. Without the use of food items, each character will recieve 3 energy per day, and you can change your character up 3 times per day. Rewards from encounters are now granted to the active character's inventory - remember to check there if you're unsure of where something may have gone!

Additionally, some encounters now have the chance to inflict status conditions onto characters. Some options on some encounters also require specific items to be in your character's inventory to be chosen.

Trait Adjustments/Reminders:

• Multiple Shaped Clouds (CRC)/Unique Clouds (CRC): Shaped Clouds (multiple or unique) no longer requires the clouds to completely cover the tailtip. However, there still needs to be a shape close to that area, to show there was at least an effort! This is because some shapes are difficult to fully cover the tip, so we wished to give people some leeway!
• Flat Soda (SDC)/Frozen Soda (SDC): Sodacats with Flat Soda or Frozen Soda do not require fizz at the tip of their tails! They can still have them, but it is not required!
• Missing Head/Face (all): Previously, it was required that all characters with this trait still have ears (or horns, for Guppymanders). However, from now on, so long as the head is completely missing or replaced, ears/horns are no longer required. If just the face is missing, and the rest of the head is present, ears/horns must still be there!!
• Shaped Tail (CRC): If the Cirrocanius has a Shaped Tail, and the tailtip is made of fur (or other non-sky material), then clouds must be present at the "tip" of the sky portion!
