SEASONAL BOSS FIGHT CHANGES:

We've significantly upped the damage dealt to the seasonal boss via some methods! 

• Cloudcoins now deal damage at a rate of 20cc:1.
• Item donations now deal double their previous damage.
• Daily logins now deal between 10 and 50 damage.

Rules update:

We've added one new point to our species rules, under trades and sales:

Do not make unsolicited offers on other users' characters or items. If a character or item is not explicitly listed for trade, or otherwise offered to you by its current owner, do not ask for them. Repeatedly begging for, requesting, or offering on other users' characters or items may result in a strike.

We have also added rules to the requests channel of our Discord server. Please be sure to read them.

CIRROCANIUS DESIGN RULES UPDATE:

As a small update, we would like to clarify that going forward all legal Cirrocanius must include clouds somewhere on their body. This means that traits such as Clear Sky and No Vortex cannot be stacked together without features such as Rainbow Tail or Overcast adding clouds elsewhere on the body. Contrails and cloud-shaped markings do not qualify.

PRIDE EVENT closes:

Our pride event is now over! Thank you to everyone who participated. 

Prompts that are currently in the queue will soon be processed, and all other event activities are now closed.

If you haven't claimed the boss rewards, you have 24 hours to do so, after which the mystery design raffle will be rolled.

The Pride Parade collab will be edited together sometime this month!

AWAN CLEANUP phase 3:

Phase 2 of Awan Cleanup has reached its goal, and phase 3 has begun! Phase 2 prompts are now closed.

As a reminder, This is a goal that the community must work together to accomplish. Each submission to the relevant prompts will contribute to the site-wide progress bar, and those participating will recieve tokens for their efforts! Each prompt will yield at least one token, but going above the minimum requirements may grant you more. There will be three phases in all.

There are two types of prompts that you can complete: repeatable prompts, which work the same way as event and seasonal prompts, and once-per-character prompts, which can be completed once per character and award a patch to their profiles! Each prompt has limitations on which species can complete them, so be sure to read the rules carefully!

The cleanup event and prompts will remain open until all three phases are completed, at which point there will be a followup story!

This is the final phase!

ART FIGHT EVENT:

Our yearly Art Fight even has begun!

DIALOGUE EVENT:

The Art Fight 2026 dialogue event can be read here! Make sure to read it over, as there is a prize code at the end.

ART FIGHT GALLERY:

Our Art Fight gallery is open! Art Fight attacks may be redeemed for a slightly higher rate than regular art redemption.  Any Art Fight attacks featuring TSS characters must be submitted here for Play Tickets. 

In addition, you will also receive Play Tickets, raffle tickets for three themed mystery designs, and the chance to receive Art Fight boxes. Play Tickets can be spent at the Art Fight shop.  Every five submissions rewards a random item box.

Note that all submissions must include a link to the attack on the Art Fight website in the description, and must fill out criteria on both the gallery and prompt submission.

TEAMS:

Just like last year, we have set up teams for the event! You can earn points for your team by submitting Art Fight attacks featuring TSS characters to our prompt.

At the end of the month, all users on the winning team who submitted an attack on our website will receive a small prize!

You can pick your team here! It does not need to be the same team you picked on Art Fight, but be warned that you cannot change your team after you have picked it.

ART FIGHT SHOP:

The Art Fight Shop is open! You can spend Play Tickets earned during the event here.

It stocks event pets, boxes for this year and previous years' teams so that you can get the patches and borders you may have missed, and a few other themed items.

The shop can be unlocked using the Stage Play Script, which you can recieve via the prize code at the end of the dialogue event.

COMEDY VS TRAGEDY VS MYSTERY PET VARIANTS:

The following pets have recieved new variants: Galonimbus, Gilby, Fifi, Kitwisp, Fantailed Duck, and Cloaked Lemur! You can switch to these variants with the Theatrical Mask item available in the Art Fight shop.

ART FIGHT MYSTERY DESIGN RAFFLES:

We have three mystery design raffles this year, each themed after one of the three Art Fight teams!

You will recieve tickets for all three designs when submitting to the Art Fight prompt!

New Staff & Staff Applications:

We've hired two new members of staff! Everyone welcome tetrangel as a Helper and artilite as a Species Artist!

Additionally, we are looking to hire at least one more Helper!

If you are hired, you will be given a 3-6 month trial period. After this period is over, you will either be offered a position as a full moderator or let go. We ask that you do not apply if you feel you would take it personally to not get a full position - sometimes things just don't work out.

Please keep in mind that this is an unpaid position, however all staff members are compensated for their work via Admin Points that are able to be redeemed for items in a staff-only shop on site. Additionally, as staff you would have the right to participate in pre-planned gachas, advents, and other adopt batches. Helpers are not, however, able to make customs or adopts independently.

You must be at least 18 years old by September 15th 2026 in order to apply. We are looking for users with a strong understanding of our species and website, with enough free time to manage an often busy server and queue, and who are able to meet deadlines consistently.

Your responsibilities as a Helper would be as follows:

• Looking over MYOs and redesigns
• Processing gallery submissions, prompts, and other on-site submissions
• Responding to messages in the Design Checks and Help Channel in our Discord server
• General server moderation
• Assisting in planning and setting up species events and features
• Creating art for use on the website where needed, including item and pet art, raffle designs, and other graphics

Applications will close on July 7th. New Helpers will be contacted on July 10th, and announced publicly on July 11th.

  • A black hole in place of a tail. Does not require spacedust.

GUPPYMANDERS

• Seafoam

  • A layer of foam covering parts of the body.
• Manta Wings
  • Uncommon
  • Flightless wings shaped like manta ray fins. Can be either attached on the back like standard wings or connected to the front legs like wyvern wings.

CIRROCANIUS

• Tornado Tail
  • Mythical
  • A rapidly twirling tail shaped like a tornado.
  • Twister Tail has been renamed to Hurricane Tail to avoid confusion with this trait.

Charity Livestream [Reminder]:

On June 23rd at 1:00PM EST, the staff team will be hosting a livestream!

We will be completing puzzles using images submitted by users, and then later moving on to games. During the stream, we will be accepting charity donations, and will raffle off prizes to chat participants as we hit certain milestones. While you will not be missing out on anything vital should you miss the stream, we would appreciate it if you stopped in!

All charity donations will be benefiting the Trevor Project, and will be going directly to the charity without entering our hands.

• Aurora Tail Meteorite has been renamed Aurora Trail Meteorite.
• We mistakenly marked part 2 of the pride event as coming out on the 29th. Part 2 of the pride event will be released on the 24th! One day after our charity livestream.

SUMMER SEASONALS:

The season has rolled over, and the summer prompts and locations are now available! This comes with a few new items.

Crafting Recipes:

NEW STATUS EFFECT:

• • Sunburn
    • Risk in summer seasonal activities.
    • Cured with Aloe Gel.
    • Can progress into Heatstroke, which is cured with an Ice Pack.

SEASONAL BOSS FIGHT:

From now on, every season we will be running a season-long boss fight! These will all be collaborative, meaning that all users deal damage to the same global health pool.

GARKIT BOAR

By visiting the link above, or navigating to the Bosses page via the navbar (under Play) you can participate in the fight against the Garkit Boar! 
Damage can be dealt to the boss using the following methods:

• Daily Logins: By visiting the boss fight page, you can damage the boss with the attack button once per day to deal between 1 and 5 damage.
• Donating Cloud Coins: Donating Cloud Coins directly via the boss fight page will deal damage, with a ratio of 100CC to 1 damage.
• Donating Items: Donating items directly via the boss fight page will deal damage, with a ratio dependant on the item's rarity.
• Prompt Submissions: Submissions to any of the Summer prompts will contribute damage to the boss fight, with a ratio of 100 damage per submission.

To deal damage via any method besides prompts and click on the Challenge Boss button. From there, navigate to the section for your method of choice, fill out the information, and press the Attack button. Damage from prompt submissions require no further input from you, and will be processed automatically by staff.

Damage dealt is collaborative - every user deals damage to a global pool. The boss has a total of 100,000HP.

The rewards can be claimed from the Boss Fight page, and are as follows:

• For participating in the fight, and at every damage threshold reached, you may claim a raffle ticket for a Summer themed mystery design!
• When the boss has lost 25% of it's HP, you may claim 150 Starbits!
• When the boss has lost 50% of it's HP, you may claim a Riverbourn Spear! This is a weapon that can be given to a character, allowing them to do extra damage to bosses when included in prompts. It will also be useful in future mechanics!
• When the boss has lost 75% of it's HP,  you may claim a Garkit Boar Hologram collectable! This collectable is exclusive and cannot be obtained anywhere else.
• When the boss is defeated, you may claim a Garkit Boar Pet, a Garkit Boar Patch, and a Myth MYO Add-On Box!

The boss fight will last until August 31st!

As a reminder, an announcement will be made once rewards are claimable - either sometime after the boss is defeated, or after the fight ends, whichever comes first.

TRAIT UPDATES:

We have made a couple of small adjustments to existing traits!

• Complex Soda Pattern [SDC]
  • Has had its rarity downgraded to Rare, in order to better match the other species.
• Shrew Nose [CF]
  • Is now considered a modifier that can stack with other nose shape traits.

PRIDE EVENT [Reminder]:

As mentioned in our previous newsletter, our pride event will begin on June 7th! A newsletter with more information will come out then.

In addition, we will be hosting a batch of pride-themed mystery adopts on June 8th! These will be $25 each.

AWAN CLEANUP:

Phase 2 of Awan Cleanup has reached its goal! 

As it was completed while we were in the midst of working on other events, the final phase will be starting July 1st, to give us time to prepare it. In the meantime, phase 2 prompts will remain open.

SUMMER ADVENT & GUEST ARTIST OPPORTUNITY:

For the first time, we will be hosting a summer advent! Just as with winter advents, each day for a full month will reveal a new themed design. This will be hosted in August, and more info will be revealed closer to the time.

In the meantime, we are looking for guest artists to help create designs for it! 

This is a monetary postion. Artists will be tasked with creating one design based on a provided theme. Each theme has a species already assigned to it. Artists will be compensated for their work with $20 when their advent day sells.

You must be 16+ to apply. This form will close June 7th, and GAs will be contacted on June 10th. You will have until 3 days before your advent day, and will be required to send in a WIP one week in advance. For example, day 1's deadline will be July 29th, and so on. This gives every single artist over one full month to complete their design.

Users now have the ability to create their own pages on-site!

These are completely blank pages that you can fill out however you please. You can use them for commission prices, personal lore information, note taking, or anything else within the rules of our website. Each user can have up to three pages. You can make a user page, or find a list of your existing user pages, here! This link can also be accessed through the left sidebar on the settings page.

Users found using pages to violate website rules, impersonate official site pages, or otherwise abuse the feature will have their pages removed and will recieve a warning or ban based on severity. Remember that this is public content.

STATUS MESSAGES:

Users can now add status messages to be viewed on their profiles!

This can be accessed through settings.

RECORD BOOK:

The record book keeps a record of all items that you have owned, regardless of whether or not you still own them. 

There are no rewards for filling this out besides the satisfaction of completing a collection. It's just for fun.

You can access it from beneath your inventory on your user page.

  • Feathers replacing some or all of the fur.

CLAYFOXES

• Translucent Clay

  • Partially translucent clay. Cannot be entirely transparent.

  • A plant of any kind replacing the nose.
• Iridescent Glaze
  • Rare
  • Solid clay with an iridescent shine to it. May have cracks running through it.
  • Also covers similar effects, such as holographic or pearlescent textures.
• Gem/Rock Tail

  • A tail made entirely of gems or rocks.
  • Golems can use this trait for free.

MAy gachas:

We'll be hosting two gachas this month!

USD Gacha [characters]:

The theme for this gacha is Endangered Species! Each design will be themed around an endangered plant or animal species. Each TSS species will be represented in this gacha.

Rolls will cost $20 each. 

This gacha will be hosted on the 15th! A Raffle-to-pay form will be posted in the discord server on the 14th for a select number of slots. The rest will be FCFS!

CloudCoin gacha [OOAK pet variants]:

We will be also hosting a gacha for OOAK pet variants this month! Rolls will cost 2,500 CC each, and will distribute a unique pride themed variant of an on-site pet. These variants will not be obtainable through any other means, and thus are completely unique individuals.

The theme for this gacha is Spring, so all pets will be spring-themed in some way.

This gacha will be hosted on the 15th! A Raffle-to-pay form will be posted in the discord server on the 14th for a select number of slots. The rest will be FCFS!

May breeding Batches:

We're opening breeding slots this month! Slots will cost $15 per baby claimed, as usual.

The raffle to pay form can be found here. This form will close on May 2nd at 3pm EST, and FCFS slots will open 30 minutes later!

Port Chrysanthemum Update:

The rules for Port Chrysanthemum designs have been updated! The new rules are as follows:

• All Port Chrysanthemum Designs should have cleare effort put into them, and must have the following design aspects
  • At least four colors. Can be the same hue, but must be clearly distinguishable from each other.
  • At least two of these colors must be used on fur. Markings cannot only be flat gradients.
• They must also feature at least one of the following:
  
  • At least two layers of markings
    • Gradients on fur can be used but do not count as markings.
  • Prominent accessories
  • One or more miscellaneous traits
  • One or more modifier traits (e.g. Multiple Tails, Fizzy, Simple Dust Pattern)
    • This includes alternative hairstyles!
  • Unique elemental placement (e.g. cutouts)
• If you're confused on any of the above, refer to the below graphic:

Hi all! Welcome to day 3 of our annual Spring Hunt.

As a reminder, these will last from 4/20 till 4/30 23:59:59 site time. Everyday from 4/20 until 4/22 we will release another set of 8 items for everyone to find! Of those 8, 4 will be raffle tickets for premade mystery designs designs. No items are FCFS.

These designs (and the winners) will be revealed on 5/1!

You may also purchase choice boxes to obtain raffle tickets for any design you may be potentially interested in with Cloudcoins. Remember that you need to open these boxes from your inventory in order to obtain the raffle tickets!

This event will work like our previous scavanger hunt events, with items being hidden anywhere members can access. This includes any non-voided characters.

If you find all 24 targets you'll get an extra reward! on 4/22 we will make a special prompt to claim these.

These designs are titled (in order) Strawberry Fields, Rosy Maple Moth, Sakura Petals, and Tranquil Pond! If you're particularlly interested in any of these designs you may purchase more raffle tickets for 500 CC each from the Starstop Shop. The item is a choice box, meaning you may select which design raffle to enter. 

All hunt targets have either an item, past event pet, or Cloudcoins in them. Todays theme is blind boxes, and below is an image of every target available today! Once you've finished finding all the spring hunt items you can submit to this prompt! In return you will recieve the following: 500 cc, The Spring Hunt 2026 patch, Collectable versions of all hunt targets, 5 rolls from The Spring Hunt loot table, and a mystery pet! Please note that staff will not process these prompts until 5/1.

Rules:

• You may only submit to this prompt if you've completed all 3 days of the spring hunt
• You must submit 3 seperate screenshots to this prompt, one for each day's hunt progress page. This is the only proof we'll accept of you completing the scavanger hunt.

We are looking for guest artists to create designs for our upcoming Gachas!

USD Gacha:

This is a monetary postion. Artists will be tasked with creating one design based on a theme provided by staff. Any species may be used. Artists will be compensated for their work with 20 USD on May 15th. The theme will be revealed to those chosen to be a GA.

You must be 16+ to apply. This form will close April 29th, and GAs will be contacted on May 1st. You will have until May 13th to complete your designs, please do not apply if you do not believe you can make this deadline.

This is a non-monetary position. Artists will be tasked with creating Spring themed variants of any pet. Artists will be compensated for their work with 2,500 cloudcoins per design created. Along with a mythical item of your choice for participating!

Cirrocanius Claw Adjustments:

We've made a few adjustments to the way cirrocanius claws. All characters on the masterlist have been updated to reflect these changes already. Changes are as follows:

• Cirrocanius now use and require the Paw trait category.
• The following traits have been added/adjusted:
  • Claw Fingers (Common)
    • Large, thick claws fused with the toes, standard for Cirrocanius.
  • Non-Standard Claws (Uncommon)
    • Regular dog paws with visible toes and smaller claws, instead of claw fingers.
      • If claw fingers or talons are present on one set of paws, this trait is not necessary to add regular claws to the other.
  • Paw Mutations have been upgraded to Rare
