Pets
Azure Fantailed Duck - Variant of Fantailed Duck (Spring)
A specially bred color variant, not found in the wild. They bond well with their owners, although they tend to have more of an attitude compared to their common counterparts.
Dark Galonimbus - Variant of Galonimbus (Spring)
These chickens live in wetlands and marshes and have adapted to their habitats. Their feathers are incredibly dense and are hydrophobic to keep themselves and their nests dry and warm. They have been seen using their tails to scoop mud for habitat creation, as well as an umbrella of sorts for their chicks.
Spotted Crab - Variant of Painted Crab (Summer)
Painted crabs of this color are often found around rivers. Algae is also said to play a part in their color, though it's unclear if it stains their skin or is consumed by them. If they cannot find shells to inhabit, hollowing out small rocks will often do just fine for them!
Fossilized Summer Gecko - Variant of Summer Gecko (Summer)
A distant ancestor of the Summer Gecko. Anayalizing it suggests that they were incapable of dropping their tails, unlike their modern day descendants.
Summer Gecko (Summer)
Summer geckos are lovely spotted reptiles that love the warm sunshine. Native to Soda Planet, they are often kept as pets by the planet's residents.
Painted Crab (Summer)
Painted Crabs are born a pale, near-white color. As they age, their diets influence their colors as adults. Their markings only show themselves as the crabs age, though some patterns are more common in certain enviornments. They seem to have their own sense of fashion, liking to trade shells amongst each other, and will often find small plants, flowers, and even paint-like materials to decorate their own shells.
Ringed Crab - Variant of Painted Crab (Summer)
Painted Crabs of this color are commonly found in coral reefs, but aren't a rare find closer to the surface. True to their enviornment, they most commonly take on coral-like shades of orange and pink. They especially love to change their shells with plenty of options around them!
